INSPIRED2IMPACT.ORG CODE OF CONDUCT
Inspired2Impact.org (the "Site") is a website where students can search for service opportunities, learn from their peers or experts who have already paved the way, and help others to successfully serve their communities. Our goal is for the Site to be a place where people respect others’ rights and feelings, including the intellectual property rights of third parties. To this end, we have established rules governing the use of the Site, including the posting of videos, messages, photos and other content ("Content") on the Site. These rules are set forth in our Terms of Use and in this Code of Conduct.
YOUR USE OF THE SITE SIGNALS YOUR AGREEMENT TO ABIDE BY THE CODE OF CONDUCT AND TERMS OF USE. FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THIS CODE OF CONDUCT AND THE TERMS OF USE MAY RESULT IN TERMINATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT AND THE DELETION OF CONTENT THAT YOU HAVE POSTED ON THE SITE, WITHOUT NOTICE, AS DETERMINED SOLELY BY INSPIRED 2 IMPACT, INC. (the "Company"). Please refer to our Terms of Use for more information about the rules governing to your use of the Site and the other rights and remedies of the Company.
Although users should be able to express their point of view, there are some types of speech that simply do not belong in our community. Therefore, you may not post or share Content that:
- depicts violence;
- makes threats to intimidate, harass, or bully anyone;
- is obscene, pornographic or sexually explicit; or
- is derogatory, demeaning, malicious, defamatory, abusive, offensive or hateful.
You are solely responsible for all content that you upload, submit, post, or otherwise transmit using the Site. As an online service provider, we are not responsible for our users’ conduct. With that said, our goal is to provide a safe environment for user interaction through the Site. Therefore, in using the Site, you may not:
- post paid job opportunities;
- post volunteer, internship, or other opportunities that discriminate based on race, origin, nationality, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, or physical or mental ability unless the discriminatory requirement is a bona fide, essential qualification of the position;
- post content that espouses a certain political or religious viewpoint over another;
- post content that does not meet a "TV G" rating guideline;
- impersonate any person or otherwise misrepresent yourself, your age or your affiliations;
- post or share any personally identifiable or private third-party information;
- solicit passwords or personal information from anyone;
- use information or content obtained through the Site in any manner not authorized by our Code of Conduct or Terms of Use;
- post any material that contains software viruses or any material designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer hardware, software, or telecommunications equipment;
- use the Site to send or make available any unauthorized advertising, solicitations, junk mail, spam, pyramid schemes, or any other form of solicitation;
- violate any local, state, national, or international law or post any Content that would encourage or provide instructions to commit a crime;
- register for more than one account or attempt to use another's account, service or system to create a false identity on the Site;
- engage in stalking or predatory conduct;
- collect email addresses or other user contact information from the Site for the purposes of sending unsolicited communications;
- use the Site in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site;
- make available any content that we deem to be harmful, inflammatory, vulgar, fraudulent, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
- share any videos or pictures other than that of a personal nature that: (i) are of you or your friends, (ii) are taken by you or your friends, or (iii) are originally created by you or your friends;
- post private information of any third party, including phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, Social Security numbers and credit card numbers; or
- make available content that, in the Company’s sole judgment, is objectionable or restricts or inhibits anyone else from using or enjoying the Site, or which may expose Company or its users to any harm or liability of any type.
This Code of Conduct is subject to change at any time at the Company’s sole discretion.
